This Is What They Want: Shared Family Gift Lists and Visible Reservations

This Is What They Want is a parent-managed family gift-list app from Clear Ops Technologies LLC. It brings recipient wish items, family-code viewing, visible reservations and recorded group-gift pledges into one shared hub.

Shared lists and reservations can help people coordinate choices, but they do not prevent purchases outside the app. We are not publishing a verified duplicate-gift rate, gift-return total or measured savings result.

What’s included

This Is What They Want ships with the features families have been duct-taping together across spreadsheets, Amazon wishlists, and group chats:

• Gift-item entry. Add names, prices, notes and optional retailer links manually. URL and AI helpers may return incomplete or incorrect details; automatic coverage for every store is not guaranteed.
• Visible reservations. Anyone with the family code can see reservation status, including a recipient. A reservation is not a purchase; buy separately at the retailer. Return in the same browser to manage a reservation.
• Built-in Secret Santa. Organizers run gift exchanges with budget ranges, exclusion rules (e.g., spouses), and individual reveal pages.
• Price and calendar limits. An in-app saved-price badge is not a delivered alert. Scheduled price checks and email/push reminders are not running in the reviewed startup; verify current prices at the retailer.
• Organizer and relative access. Organizers manage profiles and billing. Relatives view and reserve with the shared code without individual accounts. The code does not identify a viewer as a recipient or shopper.
• Privacy controls and limits. Consent confirmation, account email verification and child-level export/deletion code do not establish verified adult identity or legal compliance. Full account erasure, images, retention and provider terms require review.
• Group-gift pledges. Recorded pledges are not collected money. Family Funds use organizer-recorded amounts, not verified payments. Arrange payments separately.

The free plan manages one gift-recipient profile; relatives view and reserve for free and do not count toward profile limits.
